volleyball for Cal Berkeley, what year are you in?
Sophomore
3. Your freshman year
you were Pac-10 All Freshman Team Honors (congrats), was that your goal going into the season?
My
goal was to make a difference in the team.
4. What personal goals do you have for this season?
My goal for this season is to make it to the final four.
5. Is there one team you like to play
more than another?
Every team is an opponent. The goal is the same for each match which is to
win and there is no one team that alters our play. Each match is just as exciting.
6. How did you choose Cal?
I had very strict guildlines when picking a college. I wanted to stay in California and stay in
the Pac 10 which limited me to four schools. USC, UCLA, Cal, and Stanford. My parents then drew a 200 mile radius around the
house and said I must go outside that circle which left me with two choices.
I connected with the team immediately and
I loved the coaches. Cal just seemed to be more me.
7. What other sports if any do you play?
I have played every sport known to man other than basketball. Volleyball is the only current sport I play.
8.
Who are your favorite sports teams other than Cal?
I grew up in a very athletic family and played
a wide range of sports which has made it impossible to chose any one favorite sports team or sport.
9. What
are your plans for the future?
I hope to play on the AVP and play overseas after college.
10. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?
If
I could change one thing about the world it would be to eliminate the possibility of getting a disease or sick or anything
that would compromise someone's well being
