7. What is the thing you like most about being apart of the Lady Lassos?

I am looking forward to my first season coaching the Lady Lassos and working with an elite group of women.

8. We have alot of readers for both Crunk Magazine and wecoversports.com, what advice would you give to someone that was wanting to tryout?

Technique & Showmanship. Eventhough the Lassos perform all styles of dance, the basics are what's important. When I work with a team, I expect the dancers to learn the chorepography. I don't teach them to dance, they come in knowing that already.

9. What are your plans for the future?

I plan to continue coaching at the Professional Level and eventually earn my PHD in Social Work.

10. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?

There are so many things that I would like to change, but the most important issue to me is kids and violence. I've worked in treatment centers for at risk youth, and I think there needs to be more intervention programs in the community that are tailored to their needs.

5. What is your favorite kind of music to dance to when performing?

That's hard, I like any music that has a lot of feeling in it. But if I have to pick I'd say Hip Hop. It's so much fun to dance to.

6. What is the thing you like most about being apart of the Lady Lassos?

I love being a part of a team again! I also like just being involved in dance, with out it I don't feel right, not to mention it seems like we will not only have an extremely talented team, but we seem to get along as well.

7. We have alot of readers for both Crunk Magazine and wecoversports.com, what advice would you give to someone that was wanting to tryout?

Make sure that being on a team is something you would have fun with and wouldn't just be a "job" or "obligation", it should always be something you enjoy doing and putting effort into

8. What are your plans for the future?

My ultimate goal is to make it in a music video/tour. After that I would love to own my own studio. I'm also enrolled in college for a nursing degree for something to fall back on.

9. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?

For there not to be so much hate in the world! I see the world as being all one people and if we could figure out a way to accept everyone as they are instead of judging them for their differences, I think it would be a much more peaceful place.

For over 20 years.

3. What are your favorite sports and teams to watch?

I've always loved basketball. My two favorite teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lakers.

4. Outside of dancing, what other hobbies do you have?

I love horses and volunteer at a therapuetic riding center teaching children with disabilities how to ride. I also enjoy running and hope to run my first marathon possibly this year.

5. What is your favorite kind of music to dance to when performing?

I love dancing to anything fun with a good beat that gets the audience clapping and dancing in their seats.

6. What is the thing you like most about being apart of the Lady Lassos?

This is The Wayne County Rumble and the Lasso's first year. The players, dancers, and staff are really pumped to be the best and show everyone what we are about. That is exciting. We also have a great choreographer and an amazing group of dancers and I'm proud to be part of that.

7. We have alot of readers for both Crunk Magazine and wecoversports.com, what advice would you give to someone that was wanting to tryout?

There are a lot of good dancers out there, but that is only half of what you need. When you tryout, smile, have fun and let your personality show. That will set you apart from the rest.

8. What are your plans for the future?

One day I would like to run my own dance school or maybe be a choreographer for another dance team. I've been dancing my whole life and can't imagine giving it up completely. I'd also like to buy a bunch of property where I can have my own horses. That would be my dream goals for the future.

9. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?

I wish I could get rid of drugs in the world. I always catch the show Intervention on TV and it always makes me so sad to see what it does to peoples' lives. Everyone has the potential to do so many wonderful things in their life.

I finally get to perform for an audience again! I also enjoy learning from all the other dancers on our team. They all bring something new to the table.

8. We have alot of readers for both Crunk Magazine and wecoversports.com, what advice would you give to someone that was wanting to tryout?

Make sure your heart is in it, that is the number one thing to shine through. Also, brush up on your technique, get out and take some dance classes!

9. What are your plans for the future?

I plan to graduate from college in the next year, continue performing with the Lady Lassos and eventually open my own dance studio.

10. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?

I would change the notion that all dancers fit the mold of petite and very thin. I think it's terrible that young women are starving themselves just to do something they love. I'm not a tiny girl and I've made a professional dance team. I think more people need to take notice that some of the best performers, teachers, and choregraphers do not fit society's stereotype of perfection!

9. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?

all stereotypes! racial, sexual, ethnicity wise, gender wise.....if people could get over their differences we would all be better off.....accept everyone and do not judge immediately, get to know someone before you decide if you like them...you may get hurt or get the best relationship of your life.....you won't know until you try!
