7. What is the thing you like most about being apart of the Lady
Lassos?
I finally get to perform for an audience
again! I also enjoy learning from all the other dancers on our team. They all
bring something new to the table.
8. We have alot of readers for both Crunk Magazine and wecoversports.com,
what advice would you give to someone that was wanting to tryout?
Make sure your heart is in it, that is
the number one thing to shine through. Also, brush up on your technique, get
out and take some dance classes!
9. What are your plans for the future?
I plan to graduate from college in the
next year, continue performing with the Lady Lassos and eventually open my own
dance studio.
10. Fun question, if you could change one thing in the world,
what would it be and why?
I would change the notion that all dancers fit the mold of
petite and very thin. I think it's terrible that young women are starving themselves
just to do something they love. I'm not a tiny girl and I've made a professional
dance team. I think more people need to take notice that some of the best performers, teachers, and choregraphers do not fit society's stereotype of perfection!
